What's TREKIDS?
At TREKIDS, we take children on day trips (or sometimes weekend-long trips). The children consist of both Japanese and foreign children, so it is a great way for them to mingle with each other and discover new cultures. Our staff, including both a Japanese speaker and a native English-speaker, accompanies the children. It is a great way for children to explore various places in Japan and discover new things, while interacting with children of different cultures and speaking in both English and Japanese.
It is also a great way for them to be educated outside of the classroom environment. Some trips are academic in nature (such as university campus tours), while some are simply all about having fun (such as skiing or visiting the zoo)! We offer about 2 trips a month, so children can decide which trips they want to join us for. Through these trips, we encourage kids to have cross-cultural experiences while making long lasting memories.
